Isaiah 43:2

“Making the choice to follow Christ, does not guarantee a trouble-free life. In fact, quite the opposite is true. Upon the decision to follow Jesus, a war is publicly declared between the world and the child of God. An enmity, a tension, can be tangibly felt. The enemy takes notice that one of his captives has been freed of their chains and has taken steps out of their prison. As the child of God senses true liberation and freedom in Christ, then the conflict between the will of this world and the will of God will come into focus. Storms in our life will come out of nowhere threatening our home, our family, our children, and even ourselves. But we are not going through such a trial on our own. Even if today is in the midst of your storm, God loves you enough that He sent His Son to you.” – Pastor Michael Musante

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God,”  – Isaiah 43:2
